While providing customers with an easy-to-use yet impactful application to reduce their household food waste we will also create a scalable product which can withstand rapid growth while adapting to a changing consumer base.

There are 3 areas we'll focus on:

  1. Why our solution is robust
  2. How we plan to grow as fast as sustainably possible
  3. Expanding to across the supply chain

Our Solution Is Robust

Being an app, our solution is incredibly robust and can handle an increased user base simply by allocating more server space. In terms of customer support, that will also scale as Fruitfully grows.

How We Plan to Expand

Our aim is to grow as fast as sustainably possible. Fruitfully will be in French as well as English. We plan to start in a pilot market such as the GTA, Vancouver, Calgary, or any other Canadian city to refine our prototype before expanding to the country as a whole.

Once we have gained a strong footing in the Canadian market and are on the way to helping the country toward achieving SDG 12.3, Fruitfully will be able to establish itself in other countries such as the United States, France, and others.

The two considerations when expanding into other countries will be increasing customer support with relevant hours and hiring a translator, if applicable.
